From the Transportation Coordinator
It is the responsibility of the Transportation Department to ensure our students using school transportation arrive at school and are returned home safely each day. The person responsible for accomplishing this is our Transportation Coordinator, Mrs. Bobbi Lowry.
To: Our Residents of Chillicothe:
Summer has come to an end and we at Transportation are ready to start the new school year for Chillicothe City School, 2016 -2017. We are looking forward to having a great school year.
Once again we are asking you as parents, aunts and uncles, or grandparents to talk with your children about following the bus rules, which every parent will receive at the beginning of the school year. Also, the bus drivers work with your children to teach the laws they must obey as required by the State of Ohio. Examples include the following: For pick up and drop offs, students must go to a place of safety either when boarding or exiting the bus.
If you have any questions for bus rules feel free to call the Transportation Dept. or talk with your child’s bus driver. Your children are traveling in the safest form of transportation in the United States.
Have your child report to the bus driver when there is a problem, we can’t deal with a problem we don’t know about. (All buses are equipped with a camera)
Once again on behalf of the bus drivers of Chillicothe City School and myself as Transportation Director, I would like to personally thank you for your continued support of the Chillicothe City School District.
For pick up times please visit Website at Chillicothe City School District, click on Departments and go to Transportation. Route times will vary as new students enroll and for elementary routes as we phase in kindergarten students we will be making adjustments.
