Welcome to Tiffin Elementary – Where we create leaders!!!

Phone # 740-774-2123                                                   Fax# 740-774-9465

Office hours for Tiffin Elementary are 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.  There is a voice mail service for the office if we are unable to answer your call or the office is closed.  Please leave your name and telephone number where you can be reached and someone will return your call as soon as possible.  If your student has a transportation change, it is recommended that you send in a note.  If you call, do not leave this information on the mail service and call before 3:00 pm.

If your student is going to be absent at any time.  It is necessary for you to call the office and report the child’s absence.  We have an automated calling system that contacts parents/guardians when your child is absent.  If you have already contacted the school about the absence, disregard the message.   Also, please send a note with your student when he/she returns to school stating the date and reason for the absence.  Any absence that does not have an accompanying note from home or doctor/dentist office will be counted as an un-excused absence.  If a student is picked up early, this will count as an early departure.  Please do not pick your child up early unless necessary.  It disrupts teaching time and hampers our ability to get students to their buses and parents safely.  Please listen to the radio, WKKJ or WBEX or tune into your favorite t.v. station for delays, closings and cancellations.  Also our facebook page is a good reference for this.  Please do not call the school office for closing or delay information as we are unable to take the high volume of these calls.  Information on school closings can also be found on the Chillicothe Gazette web site.

For the 2015-1016 school year, Chillicothe City Schools will not charge school related fees for workbooks, lab fees, instructional fees, etc.  However, if your student has fees on his account from previous years, these still need to be paid.  You may contact me at any time to check your student’s balance.

Any other questions or concerns, please call and I will help you in any way that I can.
